Girish Monie a brainchild and the Curator of the menu by himself to up keep the his own fitness along with the craving for the yummy-licious food. He knows his food so well that he actually transformed the Junk food into a super healthier food which can be eaten guilt free.
I had been there couple of time. This is my overall Review and experience at this place.
Let’s begin the healthy journey by some Smoothies and Juices:
The Anti-Bloat: The name has it all!! It’s a detoxifying smoothie which has all fresh and natural ingredients like banana, coconut water (Mind it they have their own coconut wala!!!), ginger, apple cider vinegar and is a Super thick and healthy with the natural sweetener Banana play an important role in it. Ginger gives a nice hint of spice.
The Green Gorilla: This will boost up your energy levels at least for half a day… it’s a whole-some drink, which has Romaine lettuce banana, and whey protein. So instead of having just Whey Protein why not mix with Banana and Romaine Lettuce and make it more healthy….
Roasted Herb Vegetable Soup: It was a perfectly cooked and thick. Glittery golden in colour along with soulful in taste makes a perfect food companion for the winter.
Tomato Basil: Generally the tomato soup served in restaurants are made from the frozen puree but at home we make it fresh. Same case goes with this soup as well, the puree is freshly made and its naturally thicken without losing the natural colour of Tomatoes.
Iron Feast Salad: This was loaded with all the goodness one can add like quinoa, spinach, kale, dried cranberries, avocado, pumpkin seeds, feta, and drizzled with cranberry vinaigrette dressing. I like the overall taste, the crunch by the seeds, the freshness from Spinach and Kale, the sweetness from the Cranberries, the sourness from Feta Cheese. I would call it a Mosaic Salad!!!
They also have an option to Create your Salad on the menu.
Paneer Tikka in Carrot Wrap: This had fresh Lettuce, Grilled Onion, Roasted Red peppers, Tomatoes and Ricotta wrapped in glazing thin carrot base wrap. It was served with baked sweet potato chips. The wrap should have been little moist, then it would have been super delicious.
Falafel Wrap: Fresh Arugula, Hummus, Falafel, Roasted Peppers, Sun dried tomatoes and Feta. This was ordered in a buckwheat base wrap. This wrap was good in taste with little crunch between the bites.
Roasted Vegetable Wrap: One of the best Wraps on the menu. Nice, crunchy and juicy buckwheat base wrap, which had finely chopped Carrot, Beans, Red pepper, Zucchini, Eggplant, tender Mushroom, Artichoke all rolled in Spinach leaves.
They do have in house Sauce with different levels of spiciness, try their most spicy one the bhut jolokia sauce (It’s the most spiciest sauce I have ever had!! )
Sorted Paneer Makhani: This is one of the best mains one can have. Do hear the journey of the recipe from Girish, which they have expertised on it. Makhani gravy was made with 11 ingredients and all the love for the food to make healthy and delicious. 11 ingredients are yellow zucchini, carrots, tomatoes, green zucchini, broccoli, kale, spinach, beetroot and onions. Charred Grilled Paneer with freshly chopped veggies and this was served with Carrot Paratha.
Strawberry Cheese Cake: The top layer of Cheesecake was reduction of Pure crush strawberries then the cheesecake which was placed on a coconut flour as base. The cheesecake was perfect in taste but the base was little hard to scoop along with the Cheesecake. I think they can make some improvements on the base.
Five Seeds Bread Pudding: This was warm and had flax, melon, chia, pumpkin, and sunflower seeds with bamboo, buckwheat for added nutrients. Not too sweet in taste served in a cup.
Chocolate Hazelnut Tart: Beautifully presented Tart was prepared using buckwheat and almond flour. Stuffed with soft and bitter chocolate with cranberries and roasted hazelnut. Never felt the tart cup was made up with the un-usual ingredients which also cut the bitterness from the Chocolate filled in.
Sorted Deli. is the place not only for all those have diet restrictions or for people on some kind of diet, but also common food lover can visit and experience how the food can be tasty, healthy and super delicious without harming our body with all the food we consume in our daily life.
