Murphies – Upper Floor – Reviewed

Murphies primary focus on serving the best, freshly baked jacket potatoes. These are crisp on the outside & smooth on the inside, with a variety of fillings to choose from & assorted with sizzling toppings. All of the above goes well if its served with Beer and and their signature cocktails.

So it was the time when they introduced the upper floor apart from the other sitting available. The Upper floor is dedicated to the Drinks accompanied with lip smacking food.

We were Invited for tasting some of their signature Cocktails and some food.

The Sunday brunch at Upper Floor was kicks off with the Frozen Island and Kiwi Slush: Frozen Island was Vodka based cucumber flavoured while Kiwi Slush was again a Vodka and Malibu infused drink with fresh Kiwi’s. Both were equally good with a good hit of the poison.

Popcorn Infused Whisky Martini : A unique flavoured Whisky based drink with a after taste of crunchy butter Pop Corn.

Chocolatini: A strong flavour of Whisky and Chocolate is a rare combination, but Murphie’s has hit the right strings to get this drink on the table. Absolutely this was the star of all.

Pineapple and Broccoli Grill : Soft and marinated paneer was skewed along with sweet pineapple and Red and Yellow Pepper to hold the line up. It had Nice and Smoky flavour.

Sour Cream and Chives Murph: This was nicely baked but little sourish in taste. This can be corrected although. It is one of the signature Murph’s in Vegetarian.

Mushroom Risotto : This was so comforting food, the bowl was squeaky clean within minutes. It’s a must have at Murphies.

Overall: This place has grown over the years and its one and only place serving Murphs with so much of variants for both Veg and Non-Veg. Now they have opened up the upper floor dedicated for the Cocktails and Drinks gives us a one more reason to visit this place very often.

A big shout out to Sheetha for inviting us and Aman and Team Murphies for hosting us.
